Although we are nestled in the heart of the remote Ontario wilderness, getting here is simple. Whether you’re driving or flying, we look forward to greeting you at our boat-in access point. From International Falls, MN:
Take HWY 502 for 18 miles take HWY 594 for 94mi take take government street for 0.4 miles take HWY 72 for 17mi then vier onto HWY 72 again for 41 miles, take HWY 599 for 65 miles
From Thunder Bay, Ontario:
Take HWY 11 for 9 miles west out of Thunder Bay, take 599 North for 143 miles until you arrive at the camp, take the gravel drive about 1 mile to the landing watch for signs
Fuel is limited in the area, so we recommend stopping to refuel in Ignace before making the final stretch to camp. This ensures you’re prepared for the drive and have a stress-free arrival.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for moose and bears while you drive!
Commercial flights are available from Thunder Bay to Pickle Lake or private aircraft may fly to Pickle Lake where there is a 5,000 ft paved airstrip.

When you arrive at the landing, our friendly staff will greet you, assist with loading your luggage and supplies onto our spacious and comfortable camp barge, and ensure everything is ready for your short boat ride to camp. Once at camp, we’ll help unload your belongings and bring them to your cabin to make your arrival seamless.
