We're Committed to Outstanding Adventures & Happy Guests

“Accommodations were outstanding. Truly one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed in. Fully equipped and fully furnished. Flush toilets, electricity, propane heat, two fridges, nice stove, wifi, tastefully decorated… Beds were very comfortable. I was truly spoiled.

The boats are a step up from typical camp boats – solid 16 foot Lunds (don’t quote me on the manufacturer) and smooth running 20HP Yamahas with electric starts. The boats also had basic but useful Garmins affixed to them.

It’s handy that you also get cell service over a big chunk of the lake around the camp – definitely helps with navigation, and communication, among other things.

The lake is an outstanding fishery, but it’s big water so I was happy to get a lot of tips from Max and Andy and to actually have the opportunity to fish with them a few times.

I caught fish in roughly 7-10 feet in some places and in 25-30 feet in others. I hit big schools a couple of times and caught so many fish I was shaking my head in disbelief. The size of the walleye was pretty shocking. Lots and lots of 22+ inch walleye. I think my biggest was a 26”.

I’m planning to go back next year…hope they can slot me in, because I can see how appealing this place would be to any serious walleye angler. Plus they’re making all kinds of impressive improvements to the camp which is only going to make the experience even more enjoyable and comfortable.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a secluded easy boat-in camp with outstanding fishing and excellent accommodations.”
